Our aim in teaching music at Ashford Oaks Primary School is to stimulate children's creativity and imagination by exploring live and recorded music from a wide range of time periods and different parts of the world. Pupils are taught to play the ocarina, glockenspiels and ukulele, while also learning how to read, write and compose their own music.

 

A school choir provides additional opportunities for children with a passion for singing, alongside a KS1 nativity and a Year 6 production to celebrate milestones of their school lives.
